I'm a Dad again!
Adam Michael Slade was born Sat Nov 20th at 8.16am weighing in at 7 pounds 6oz and 20 inches long..... You do the conversion to metric!
We almost screwed it up, we were waiting for some regular contractions to come along and they never did and by the time we got to the hospital it was almost too late. Adam was born 15 mins after we arrived, they didn't even have enough time to put an IV drip into Margaret. The doctor put his gown and gloves on, held his hands out and caught him! He came out the first push Margaret made!
The plus side is that Margaret wasn't tired from it at all, just a bit sore. So she was up and walking a couple of hours later and we checked out of the hospital less than a day and a half later. Margaret is doing really really well, she barely knows she had a baby now.
Adam so far, has been the perfect baby! He crys when he is hungry and at no other time so far. When he is awake ( which has been maybe a couple of hrs a day tops ) he just lies there and looks around....not a peep out of him. He has already gone passed his birth weight and Margaret's milk is flowing freely.
I think Matthew hasn't really figured it all out yet.... Adam is just this 'thing' that makes noise every now and then. Just wait till he starts taking his trucks... then he'll know he has a brother.
Anyway... must go.... baby crying.... must be hungry :)

An uncle again, huh? When do I get a niece, I have the urge to send horrible pink frilly things... maybe I will anyway...
Congrats to you both. Don't forget photos at some stage.

Congratulations guys. It's so nice having a quiet baby isn't it.
I think our second will be a pain. The first was a dream. Have fun.
