Back to life, back to reality

Actually it's only half back to reality and even then it's only for a few days. What the hell am I talking about you ask?

Well, I have gone back to work. IBM gives you a couple of weeks of paternity leave ( yay IBM ) and I have taken one full week off and I am spreading the last week over 2 by working half days. I just took a look at how much vacation I have left and I have 13 days so I am going to work half days for the rest of this week ( i.e tomorrow ) and all of next week and then I have the last 3 weeks off. Cool! Margaret will be happy when I tell her this!

She is starting to have to find the groove of taking care of two kids and is a little apprehensive. Still I know people much less capable than her who have done it and so I know she will do just fine. And by the time I have to go back to work full time Adam will be about 5 weeks old and hopefully all 'teething' problems would have been found and sorted out by then.

Adam is doing great. He cries a lot less than Matthew did which is nice. He has had a little gas trouble not nothing that has lasted very long. He is starting to stay awake a lot more now.... which also means he is sleeping better at night as well. I may even get adventuresome and look at posting a few pictures on this blog site.... or at least a link to some pictures.

Anyway, must dash..... my half day is up and I'm off home..... :-)
