Death of a phone number

One of my Aunts from the U.K has been staying with us this week and today she is catching a ride back to Myrtle beach where is staying at some commune kind of place.... she assures us that is it is totally non-cultie. She is there of another week ( she was there for one before she visited us ). 500 acres of mostly natural land, a mile of beach and $26 a night..... sounds great. She is into reincarnation and being nice to each other..... I think the being nice part is great but the cynic in me cringes at the rest... I am sooo anti organized religion.... just another form of big business in disguise.

Tonight I play poker! A small group of us started getting together once a month about 6 months ago to play. It's low low stakes....$20 will last the night and who ever is hosting supplies the beer and dinner..... a cheap nights entertainment! I'll let you know how I do, last time I came away $10 richer.

Mum and Dad have finally moved into the retirement home they have built in Cambridge ( well actually Lemington but it's close enough to Cambridge ). Mum is finishing the school year at Forest View High School in Tokoroa and she may do another year next year. So the house I grew up in has been sold...which is a little sad. They rented a place in Tokoroa while the place in Cambridge was being built and this Sunday that will also end..... and with it goes 'my' home phone number. We have had that number for 30 odd years and in a day it will be gone....

You think losing the phone number is bad, try having wowo and panda sold off as well, and for less than $1.00
